This summer we experienced the most amazing hot and sunny summer weather for many years. And the only time the weather actually turned wet in Northland was when we ventured south to Dunedin to be at Jan's Mum, Jean Hart's 90th birthday. When we returned to Oakura again the weather returned to blue skys and hot dry weather which didn't really break until mid-late February.
